XOXO Cupcakes…Valentine’s Day Treat

This was actually suppose to be Thursday’s blog but I started doing lots of Valentine’s Day treat projects and was covered in cake mix, frosting and candy and couldn’t get it done in time. I have lots of great ideas for Valentine’s Day coming up next week too. So for today…

Found the idea for these little cuties on Pinterest. I really loved the simplicity of these but the big impact they make. Super easy to make and great for Valentine’s Day. You can make this really easy by using your favorite boxed cake mix and pre-made frosting, or go all out and make it from scratch. I was short on time so I made a boxed strawberry cake mix, which I thought was cute because the cake turns out pink and pre-made white whipped frosting. Topped them with Cinnamon drops in the shape of X’s and O’s and they were done. Give a little love this Valentine’s Day with these cute little cupcakes and I’m sure they’ll be a hit. My family loved them!

It didn’t take long and remember it doesn’t have to be perfect. The plastic Valentine’s plates were a great find at Michaels.

Getting ready for Valentine’s Day this year with lots of new treats and ideas. Don’t miss out Monday on the blog for some more tasty treats and projects. If you’ve got kids and our helping out with their class parties you’ll want to check out Monday’s blog for some great ideas. Happy Friday and have a great weekend.

All the best,
